Rare Piaget Beta 21 Quartz | REF. 14101 C 10 | Hawk Eye | 18k Yellow Gold | 33.5mm | 1970s

Pre-owned, excellent condition rare 1970's Piaget Beta 21, reference 14101 C 10, 18k Yellow Gold gents wristwatch. Incredibly rare Hawk Eye stone dial (also known as Falcon's Eye), an 18k Yellow Gold 33.5mm case, triple stepped smooth bezel - a signature of the Piaget Beta - winder, integrated ribbed bracelet and clasp with 'P' signature for Piaget, sapphire crystal glass and quartz movement.

The watch is powered by the Beta 21 quartz movement, from which the model takes it's name - developed by a Swiss consortium including Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe and Piaget (to name a few), in response to the Quartz Crisis of the 1970s.

Bold and historically significant, this watch captures a pivotal moment in horological history - where the influence of the 1970s quartz revolution met Piaget’s distinctive creative vision. Whilst this is a very rare watch in it's own right, this particular variation with the Hawk Eye stone dial is one of only two ever known to have surfaced on the market, making it an incredibly rare collectors watch.

The watch fits a wrist up to 20cm currently, though it can be shortened by a jeweller to accommodate smaller wrists - please enquire for further details on this.

The watch comes with our Watch Collectors Certificate of Authenticity, Box and 24 Months Warranty.

This watch has been checked against technical records to guarantee authenticity and clean history.
